A Holy Way to Start
We began Shushan Purim in classic MSB style - with a סיום on סדר קדשים. After a remarkable 60 boys participated in learning the 91 פרקים and 590 משניות, Rabbi Dechter was honored in leading the סיום. We will begin סדר טהרות, the last of ששה סדרי משנה, shortly and complete it be"H in time for מתן תורה. Mazel Tov to everyone!
It's Ur Turn
Students in 6B signed up to be in a tournament to play the Royal Game of Ur, which is the oldest complete board game discovered in Mesopotamia. They got to strategize and have fun, but also see how some modern games have links to the past, like Backgammon and Trouble.
