By Daniel Zupnik:

Today in Rabbi Barrish’s 8B Gemara class, we had the chance to look and feel the parchment that is used for a Sefer Torah and Megillah, and the material used to make the tefillin batim. Over the last two weeks, we have been spending 5 to 10 minutes a day discussing how to write a Sefer Torah, how they sew Tefillin, what happens in the middle of the process, and what they say during the entire process.
