Gemara Everywhere!

During a well deserved extra recess, Rabbi Russ's 6B Gemara shiur distinguished themselves like never before. In the middle of a play, the point guard called out, "hashta," now to begin their preplanned play. Then, a classmate yelled out, "hosom," there, pointing to a teammate who was open for a pass. That player then announced, "hocha," here, to indicate he was open. When there was a turnover, they called out, "Adrabah," on the contrary - the play had just flipped to the other team. Other Gemara keywords were then used along the way - "tray," two for double dribble and "azeel," go when it was time to leave the gym.

This can only happen with students who not only do chazara nightly and are comfortable with the words, but also only withboys who love their learning so much that they take it with them everywhere - even onto the basketball court.
