Rebuilding After the Destruction

Mirroring Rabbi Teller's message on Monday, each class spent Yom Ha'Shoah on a series of lessons and activities. In the morning, each shiur discussed a handful of the towering pre-war Torah figures and then the plethora of yeshivos that were reestablished after the war, followed by student video testimonials from family survivors. In the afternoon, the morning's conversations led to a thorough timeline of WW2, reflection questions, and a Gallery Walk in all Social Studies classes.
