This week, I received a call: "There is a small family in Far Rockaway, and their father passed away without anyone to learn for him. Can you help finish even just one סדר of משניות for his שלושים - which is this Thursday?" After this morning's announcement, a large crowd of boys rushed over to "grab" a פרק. Within seconds, the remaining מסכתות were accounted for and the rest of סדר זרעים will be now completed in time.
THIS is what these boys are all about. Learning, davening, chesed - absolutely nonstop. And this was just part of the scene ... students going straight from davening to learning before heading to breakfast.
