

Bringing Merit
To begin our Yom Ha'Zikaron program, students viewed a dramatic introduction about our role in thinking about and davening for our brothers and sisters, followed by two videos, entitled, Life as an IDF Family. Each student then received one of 150 cards with the information and picture of a fallen chayal for whom to say a perek of Tehillim. Within minutes, the entire Sefer Tehillim was completed.

Chazara Pays Off
Over Pesach, the students of 6B were challenged to maintain their CCP learning—and they did not disappoint! A tremendous yasher koach to the 18 boys who participated in the rigorous program and dedicated a great deal of time to their continued growth! We are never on vacation from Torah!


Rebuilding After the Destruction
Mirroring Rabbi Teller's message on Monday, each class spent Yom Ha'Shoah on a series of lessons and activities. In the morning, each shiur discussed a handful of the towering pre-war Torah figures and then the plethora of yeshivos that were reestablished after the war, followed by student video testimonials from family survivors. In the afternoon, the morning's conversations led to a thorough timeline of WW2, reflection questions, and a Gallery Walk in all Social Studies cla


Preparing for Yom Ha'Shoah
As we headed into Yom Ha'Shoah, we had the privilege of hosting world-renowned speaker and author, Rabbi Hanoch Teller, for a presentation entitled, Stories of the Past, Inspiration for the Future. In his classic dramatic style, he shared stories of resilience and dedication to our Jewish identity during those dark years of agonizing horror and loss.
